Why is repair needed?

BSM module repair is not uncommon. Buying a used module on the aftermarket will only solve the problem temporarily. It’s likely that each of these modules will need repair sooner or later. The BSM module is difficult to repair because it’s encased in rubber and its electronics are inaccessible.
